CytoTrack Green
CytoTrack Green (Ex-Max 502 nm/Em-Max 522 nm)
CytoTrack Green Cell Proliferation Assay Kit from Bio-Rad has an excitation peak at 502 nm and an emission peak at 522 nm. This reagent passively crosses the cell membrane and is hydrolyzed causing it to become fluorescent and retained intracellularly. It then covalently crosslinks with primary amine-containing proteins inside the cell. With each daughter generation, as the cell divides, the intensity of the dye will become half of it's parent, indicating a symmetrical division of the cell and cytoplasm.
