About Amplex Red
10-Acetyl-37-dihydroxyphenoxazin (Amplex Red) is a fluorogenic substrate that is stoichiometrically converted in the presense horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and H2O2. This reagent is commonly used in Microplate Assay or to detect an HRP cojugated antibody in western blot. It has an excitation peak at 569 nm and an emission peak at 581 nm.
