5-TAMRA (Tetramethylrhodamine) is a single isomer form of the fluorophore. It has an excitation peak at 550 nm and an emission peak at 575 nm. Tetramethylrhodamine is most commonly used in fluorescence microscopy applications and is equivalent in size and application to Alexa Fluor™ 546, Chromeo 546 and DyLight™ 549
