RealBlue™ 613 (RB613) from BD Biosciences is a very bright alternative to PE-CF®594 and PE-Dazzle® 594 tandem fluorophores and has the advantage of discrete excitation off of the 488nm laser without much cross-beam excitation by the 532 or 561nm lasers. This limited cross-beam excitation will translate to lower complexity index scores and lower spillover spreading error in high parameter spectral flow cytometry applications. RB613 will peak in the same emission channel at 613nm as PE-CF®594 and PE-Dazzle® 594 tandem fluorophores.
