Biotium’s MitoView dyes are used for live cell mitochondrial staining. These dyes are bright, photostable, non-toxic dyes, and do not require a wash step before imaging. While these dyes should be used for live cell staining only, the exception is MitoView Green which can be used for staining fixed cells.
