PROTEOSTAT-Red from Enzo Life Sciences is a component used to monitor peptide and protein aggregation in live and fixed cells and solution. The ProteoSTAT dye selectively intercalates into the cross-beta spine of quaternary protein structures typical of misfolded and aggregated proteins. It has an excitation peak at 471 nm and an emission peak at 593 nm.
