Sytox Blue from Thermo Fisher Scientific is a cell-impermeant, fluorogenic nucleic acid stain that can be used as a viability dye for use in flow cytometry. It has an excitation peak at 405 nm and an emission peak at 467 nm and is often used in spectral flow cytometry due to these unique spectral characteristics.
