About Oxazole Red

Oxazole Red (YO-PRO-3) is a cell-impermeant, fluorogenic intercalating nucleic acid stain. Oxazole Red has an excitation peak at 613 nm and an emission peak at 629 nm. It is commonly used as a dead and apoptotic cell stain in the following applications: Fluorescence Microscopy and Flow Cytometry.
