About StarBright UltraViolet 400

StarBright UltraViolet 400 (SBUV400) is a fluorescent polymer nanoparticle that has an excitation peak at 347 nm and an emission peak at 394 nm, an alternative to BUV495 in flow cytometry. The StarBright family fluorophores from Bio-Rad offers an alternative to the Horizon Brilliant™ polymer series from BD Biosciences including Brilliant™ Violet and Brilliant™ UV. StarBright UV 400 is spectrally equivalent to BUV395.
