About Thiazole Orange
Thiazole Orange (TO) is a cell semi-permeant, fluorogenic nucleic acid stain with an affinity for RNA in blood cells and as a counterstain in live bacteria. It has an excitation peak at 512 nm and an emission peak at 533 nm. Thiazole Orange is commonly used to detect nucleic acids in solution and in DNA gels.
