Description This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human Epcr / PROCR (rh Epcr / PROCR; Catalog#13320-H08H; Q9UNN8; Met1-Thr209). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

CD201 The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease activated by and involved in the blood coagulation pathway. The encoded protein is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein that enhances the activation of protein C. Mutations in this gene have been associated with venous thromboembolism and myocardial infarction, as well as with late fetal loss during pregnancy.
