	Nuf2 56-64 VYGIRLEHF (Dextramer)	This gene encodes a protein that is highly similar to yeast Nuf2, a component of a conserved protein complex associated with the centromere. Yeast Nuf2 disappears from the centromere during meiotic prophase when centromeres lose their connection to the spindle pole body, and plays a regulatory role in chromosome segregation. The encoded protein is found to be associated with centromeres of mitotic HeLa cells, which suggests that this protein is a functional homolog of yeast Nuf2. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode the same protein have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

		Western Blot: Nuf2 Antibody [NBP1-31632] - HeLa whole cell and nuclear extracts (30 ug) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with NUF2 antibody diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (NBP2-19301) was used to detect the primary antibody.
		Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Nuf2 Antibody [NBP1-31632] - A431 cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min. Green: CDCA1 protein stained by CDCA1 antibody [312] diluted at 1:200. Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.
		Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Nuf2 Antibody [NBP1-31632] - Paraformaldehyde-fixed U2OS, using CDCA1 antibody (Geen) at 1:500 dilution. Alpha-tubulin filaments were labeled with an alpha Tubulin antibody (Red) at 1:2000.
