	GBF1	This gene encodes a member of the Sec7 domain family. The encoded protein is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor that regulates the recruitment of proteins to membranes by mediating GDP to GTP exchange. The encoded protein is localized to the Golgi apparatus and plays a role in vesicular trafficking by activating ADP ribosylation factor 1. The encoded protein has also been identified as an important host factor for viral replication. Multiple transcript variants have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2010]

		Immunoprecipitation: GBF1 Antibody [NBP1-06526] - Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 ug for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded), 293T (T; 50 ug) and mouse NIH3T3 (M; 50 ug) cells. NBP1-06526 used for WB at 0.04 ug/ml (A) and 1 ug/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 ug/mg lysate. GBF1 was also immunoprecipitated by NBP1-06525 which recognizes an upstream epitope.
