| GARS | This gene encodes glycyl-tRNA synthetase, one of the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases that charge tRNAs with their cognate amino acids. The encoded enzyme is an (alpha)2 dimer which belongs to the class II family of tRNA synthetases. It has been shown to be a target of autoantibodies in the human autoimmune diseases, polymyositis or dermatomyositis. Western Blot: GARS Antibody (4E10) [NBP2-42679] - The cell lysates of Hela and 293T (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human GARS antibody 1:500. Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. |
