About CENPT and Purified
| CENPT | The centromere is a specialized chromatin domain, present throughout the cell cycle, that acts as a platform on which the transient assembly of the kinetochore occurs during mitosis. All active centromeres are characterized by the presence of long arrays of nucleosomes in which CENPA (MIM 117139) replaces histone H3 (see MIM 601128). Immunoprecipitation: CENPT Antibody [NBP1-28698] - Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CENP-T antibody NBP1-28698 used for IP at 10 ug/mg lysate. CENP-T was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-CENP-T antibody NBP1-28744, which recognizes an upstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated CENP-T, NBP1-28744 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds. |
