Description Clone A32 is highly specific for fibronectin. There is no evidence for cross-reactivity with other connective tissue proteins (vitronectin, elastin, collagen, laminin). Clone A32 cross-reacts with human fibronectin. Other species have not been tested.
About Fibronectin and DyLight 405
Fibronectin This gene encodes fibronectin, a glycoprotein present in a soluble dimeric form in plasma, and in a dimeric or multimeric form at the cell surface and in extracellular matrix. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protein. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion and migration processes including embryogenesis, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and metastasis. The gene has three regions subject to alternative splicing, with the potential to produce 20 different transcript variants, at least one of which encodes an isoform that undergoes proteolytic processing. DyLight 405 DyLight™ 405 has an excitation peak at 400 nm and an emission peak at 420 nm and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 405 and Cascade Blue. DyLight™ 405 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
