About UNC5H2 and Purified
| UNC5H2 | This gene encodes a member of the netrin family of receptors. This particular protein mediates the repulsive effect of netrin-1 and is a vascular netrin receptor. This encoded protein is also in a group of proteins called dependence receptors (DpRs) which are involved in pro- and anti-apoptotic processes. Many DpRs are involved in embryogenesis and in cancer progression. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011] |

Detection of Rat UNC5H2 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of rat spinal cord tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.25 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Rat UNC5H2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF1006) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF019). A specific band was detected for UNC5H2 at approximately 110 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1. |
