About STEAP1 and Purified
STEAP1 This gene is predominantly expressed in prostate tissue, and is found to be upregulated in multiple cancer cell lines. The gene product is predicted to be a six-transmembrane protein, and was shown to be a cell surface antigen significantly expressed at cell-cell junctions. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Detection of Human STEAP1 by Simple WesternTM. Simple Western lane view shows lysates of LNCaP human prostate cancer cell line, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for STEAP1 at approximately 40 kDa (as indicated) using 10 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human STEAP1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF5587) followed by 1:50 dilution of HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF109). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.

Detection of Human STEAP1 by Western Blot.

Western blot shows lysates of LNCaP human prostate cancer cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human STEAP1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF5587) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF019). A specific band was detected for STEAP1 at approximately 37 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.
