About PLK-1 and Purified
| PLK-1 | The Ser/Thr protein kinase encoded by this gene belongs to the CDC5/Polo subfamily. It is highly expressed during mitosis and elevated levels are found in many different types of cancer. Detection of Human PLK1 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line and Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human PLK1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3804) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). A specific band was detected for PLK1 at approximately 70 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1. |
