	NTAL	This gene is one of the contiguous genes at 7q11.23 commonly deleted in Williams syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder. This gene consists of at least 14 exons, and its alternative splicing generates 3 transcript variants, all encoding the same protein. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

		Detection of NTAL in THP-1 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. THP-1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line was stained with Sheep Anti-Human NTAL Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4066, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # 5-001-A, open histogram), followed by NorthernLights™ 637-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # NL011). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin.
		Detection of Human NTAL by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of THP-1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line, Ramos human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line and Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Human NTAL Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4066) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for NTAL at approximately 25 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
