	Musashi-2	This gene encodes an RNA-binding protein that is a member of the Musashi protein family. The encoded protein is transcriptional regulator that targets genes involved in development and cell cycle regulation. Mutations in this gene are associated with poor prognosis in certain types of cancers. This gene has also been shown to be rearranged in certain cancer cells. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2016]

		Musashi-2 in K562 Human Cell Line. Musashi-2 was detected in immersion fixed K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line using Mouse Anti-Human Musashi-2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3255) at 8 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). 		Detection of Musashi-2 in Rat Cortical Stem Cells by Flow Cytometry. Rat cortical stem cells were stained with Mouse Anti-Human Musashi-2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3255, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005).
