About CCL1 and Purified
CCL1 | This antimicrobial gene is one of several chemokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines form a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of the N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine, a member of the CC subfamily, is secreted by activated T cells and displays chemotactic activity for monocytes but not for neutrophils. It binds to the chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 8. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014] |

Chemotaxis Induced by CCL1/I-309 and Neutralization by Human CCL1/I-309 Anti-body. Recombinant Human CCL1/I-309 (Catalog # 272-I) chemoattracts the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with human CCR8 in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). The amount of cells that migrated through to the lower chemotaxis chamber was measured by Resazurin (Catalog # AR002). Chemotaxis elicited by Recombinant Human CCL1/I-309 (0.02 µg/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Mouse Anti-Human CCL1/I-309 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB272). The ND50 is typically 0.1-0.5 µg/mL. |
