	PAK2	The p21 activated kinases (PAK) are critical effectors that link Rho GTPases to cytoskeleton reorganization and nuclear signaling. The PAK proteins are a family of serine/threonine kinases that serve as targets for the small GTP binding proteins, CDC42 and RAC1, and have been implicated in a wide range of biological activities. The protein encoded by this gene is activated by proteolytic cleavage during caspase-mediated apoptosis, and may play a role in regulating the apoptotic events in the dying cell. 		Western blot of purified anti-PAK2 antibody (clone P83B5). Lane 1: Molecular weight marker; Lane 2: 20 µg of human brain lysate; Lane 3: 20 µg of human brain nuclear lysate; Lane 4: 20 µg of rat brain lysate; Lane 5: 20 µg of mouse brain lysate. The blot was incubated with 2 µg/ml of the primary antibody overnight at 4°C, followed by incubation with HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgG (Cat. No. 405301). β-tubulin (Cat. No. 801206) was used as loading control. Enhanced chemiluminescence was used as the detection system.
