	Description	Clone REA983 recognizes the mouse CD80 antigen also known as B7, B7-1, or Ly-53. The 55 kDa member of the Ig superfamily is expressed on activated B cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells. The interaction of CD80 and CD152 (CTLA-4) or CD28 induces T cell proliferation and cytokine production. \| Additional information: Clone REA983 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.

	CD80	The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane receptor that is activated by the binding of CD28 or CTLA-4. The activated protein induces T-cell proliferation and cytokine production.
