About ROS and ATTO 390
ROS This proto-oncogene, highly-expressed in a variety of tumor cell lines, belongs to the sevenless subfamily of tyrosine kinase insulin receptor genes. The protein encoded by this gene is a type I integral membrane protein with tyrosine kinase activity. The protein may function as a growth or differentiation factor receptor. ATTO 390 ATTO 390 from ATTO-TEC has an excitation peak at 390 nm and an emission peak at 448 nm. It is a novel fluorescent label with a coumarin structure. Characteristic features of the label are high fluorescence quantum yield, large Stokes-shift, good photo-stability, and low molecular weight.
