About HSF2 and ATTO 390
HSF2 The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the HSF family of transcription factors that bind specifically to the heat-shock promoter element and activate transcription. Heat shock transcription factors activate heat-shock response genes under conditions of heat or other stresses. ATTO 390 ATTO 390 from ATTO-TEC has an excitation peak at 390 nm and an emission peak at 448 nm. It is a novel fluorescent label with a coumarin structure. Characteristic features of the label are high fluorescence quantum yield, large Stokes-shift, good photo-stability, and low molecular weight.
