The protein encoded by this gene is found on the surface of platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, and some types of T-cells, and makes up a large portion of endothelial cell intercellular junctions. About CF680R
CF®680R from Biotium is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 680 nm and an emission peak at 701 nm. It can be useful in both fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. For microscopy, CF®680R has been specifically validated in super-resolution imaging by STORM, STED and 2-Photon microscopy. It is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 680, IRDye® 680 and Cy5.5.
