Antigen CD49c
Clone 158A3
Host Mouse
Isotype IgG2a
Conjugate DyLight 488
Target Species Canine, Human
Applications ICC/IF, WB, IHC-Fr, IHC
Description Reacts exclusively with the cytoplasmic domain of non-phosphorylated integrin subunit alpha3A. The monoclonal antibody reacts with Human tissues. A broader species reactivity is expected because of the conserved nature of the epitope.
About CD49c and DyLight 488
CD49c The gene encodes a member of the integrin alpha chain family of proteins. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain that function as cell surface adhesion molecules. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate light and heavy chains that comprise the alpha 3 subunit. This subunit joins with a beta 1 subunit to form an integrin that interacts with extracellular matrix proteins including members of the laminin family. Expression of this gene may be correlated with breast cancer metastasis. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2015]
DyLight 488 DyLight™ 488 has an excitation peak at 493 nm and an emission peak at 518 nm and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 488, fluorescein and FITC. DyLight™ 488 is most commonly used in flow cytometery, and fluorescence microscopy applications.
