Description Intersectin-2 (E5J9F) Rabbit mAb recognizes endogenous levels of total intersectin-2 protein. This antibody reacts with intersectin-2L and intersectin-2S protein isoforms but does not cross-react with the corresponding isoforms of intersectin-1 protein. This antibody cross-reacts with proteins of unknown identity between 80 kDa and 120 kDa in some rat cell extracts.
About ITSN2 and Purified
ITSN2 This gene encodes a cytoplasmic protein which contains SH3 domains. This protein is a member of a family of proteins involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Intersectin 2 is thought to regulate the formation of clathrin-coated vesicles and also may function in the induction of T cell antigen receptor (TCR) endocytosis. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2017]
