	Dystrobrevin alpha	The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the dystrobrevin subfamily of the dystrophin family. This protein is a component of the dystrophin-associated protein complex (DPC), which consists of dystrophin and several integral and peripheral membrane proteins, including dystroglycans, sarcoglycans, syntrophins and alpha- and beta-dystrobrevin. The DPC localizes to the sarcolemma and its disruption is associated with various forms of muscular dystrophy. Mutations in this gene are associated with left ventricular noncompaction with congenital heart defects. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

		Western Blot: Dystrobrevin alpha Antibody (1B2) [NBP2-03422] Analysis of extracts (35ug) from 9 different cell lines by using anti-Dystrobrevin alpha monoclonal antibody.
		Western Blot: Dystrobrevin alpha Antibody (1B2) [NBP2-03422] - HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY Dystrobrevin alpha (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-Dystrobrevin alpha.
		Flow Cytometry: Dystrobrevin alpha Antibody (1B2) [NBP2-03422] - HEK293T cells transfected with either overexpression plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-Dystrobrevin alpha antibody, and then analyzed by flow cytometry.
