Description NB100-65603 recognizes the rat OX2 (CD200) receptor 1. This antigen is a heavily glycosylated 60-100kD cell surface molecule expressed by cells of the myeloid lineage but not by T or B lymphocytes. This antibody has been shown to block the interaction of OX2 receptor 1 with CD200.
About CD200 and Purified
CD200 This gene encodes a type I membrane glycoprotein containing two extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane and a cytoplasmic domain. This gene is expressed by various cell types, including B cells, a subset of T cells, thymocytes, endothelial cells, and neurons. The encoded protein plays an important role in immunosuppression and regulation of anti-tumor activity. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
