Description To detect hM-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hM-CSF is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. To detect hM-CSF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 – 1.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech's Polyclonal Anti-Human M-CSF (500-P44) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 – 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hM-CSF. To detect hM-CSF by direct ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 – 1.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 – 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hM-CSF.Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hM-CSF. Anti-Human M-CSF specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

M-CSF The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of macrophages. The active form of the protein is found extracellularly as a disulfide-linked homodimer, and is thought to be produced by proteolytic cleavage of membrane-bound precursors.
