Description Epitope of GZ-1 and GZ-20 monoclonal antibodies are different. EGP40 is a 40-43 kDa transmembrane epithelial glycoprotein, also identified as epithelial specific antigen (ESA), or epithelial cellular adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM). It is expressed on basolateral cell surface in most simple epithelia and a vast majority of carcinomas. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
About CD326 and CF488A
CD326 This gene encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen and is a member of a family that includes at least two type I membrane proteins. This antigen is expressed on most normal epithelial cells and gastrointestinal carcinomas and functions as a homotypic calcium-independent cell adhesion molecule. The antigen is being used as a target for immunotherapy treatment of human carcinomas. Mutations in this gene result in congenital tufting enteropathy. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2008]
CF488A CF®488A from Biotium is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 490 nm and an emission peak at 515 nm. It is spectrally similar to Fluorescein, Alexa Fluor™ 488 and DyLight™ 488. It can be use in fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. In microscopy, CF®488A has been specifically validated for STORM, STED, Structured Illumination (SIM), 2-Photon microscopy and TIRF.
