About CD34 and DyLight 594
CD34 The protein encoded by this gene may play a role in the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or to stromal cells. This single-pass membrane protein is highly glycosylated and phosphorylated by protein kinase C. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DyLight 594 DyLight™ 594 has an excitation peak at 593 nm and an emission peak at 618 nm and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 594 and Texas Red. DyLight™ 594 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
