Host Human
Isotype IgG1
Conjugate APC
Target Species Human
Applications FC
Description Clone REA249 recognizes the human CD131 antigen, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as IL-3R common subunit β or GM-CSF/IL-3/IL-5 receptor common β chain. CD131 forms heterodimers with the α subunit of the receptor complexes for human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSFR), interleukin 3 (IL-3R), and interleukin 5 (IL-5R). These cytokine receptors are expressed by several different cell types like neutrophils, eosinophils, monocytes, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and hematopoietic progenitor cells. | Additional information: Clone REA249 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
About CD131 and APC
CD131 The protein encoded by this gene is the common beta chain of the high affinity receptor for IL-3, IL-5 and CSF. Defects in this gene have been reported to be associated with protein alveolar proteinosis (PAP). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
APC Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
