About CD354 and ATTO 550
CD354 | This gene encodes a receptor belonging to the Ig superfamily that is expressed on myeloid cells. This protein amplifies neutrophil and monocyte-mediated inflammatory responses triggered by bacterial and fungal infections by stimulating release of pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines, as well as increased surface expression of cell activation markers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Jun 2011] | |

ATTO 550 | ATTO 550 is from ATTO-Tec Gmbh has an excitation peak at 554 nm and an emission peak at 576 nm. ATTO 550 is a novel fluorescent label related to the well-known dyes Rhodamine 6G and Rhodamine B. Characteristic features of the label are strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, and high thermal and photo-stability. The dye is moderately hydrophilic. ATTO 550 is a cationic dye. After coupling to a substrate the dye carries a net electrical charge of +1. As supplied ATTO 550 consists of three isomers with practically identical absorption and fluorescence. |
