cGAS Enables several functions, including 2',3'-cyclic GMP-AMP synthase activity; chromatin binding activity; and phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate binding activity. Involved in several processes, including cellular response to exogenous dsRNA; positive regulation of intracellular signal transduction; and regulation of defense response. CF488A CF®488A from Biotium is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 490 nm and an emission peak at 515 nm. It is spectrally similar to Fluorescein, Alexa Fluor™ 488 and DyLight™ 488. It can be use in fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. In microscopy, CF®488A has been specifically validated for STORM, STED, Structured Illumination (SIM), 2-Photon microscopy and TIRF.
