Description Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Gpr43, which belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. It functions as a ligand for short chain fatty acids (SCFAs), notably acetate and propionate. It is expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes and, to lesser, extent, in spleen. GPR43 mediates inhibition of adenylyl cyclase and elevation of intracellular calcium.

FFAR2 This gene encodes a member of the GP40 family of G protein-coupled receptors that are clustered together on chromosome 19.
