Description | Galiximab is a primatized mAb which consists of human constant and primate (cynomolgus macaque) variable regions and binds specifically to B7-1/CD80. B7-1/CD80 is a surface glycoprotein and a member of the B7 family of costimulatory molecules. B7-1/CD80 antigen regulates T cell activation (through interacting with CD28 or CD152) and is expressed transiently in antigen-presenting cells, T cells and normal B cells, and expressed consitutively on various subtypes of B-cell lymphomas. |
About CD80 and Alexa Fluor 750
CD80 | The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane receptor that is activated by the binding of CD28 or CTLA-4. The activated protein induces T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. This protein can act as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B and may play a role in lupus neuropathy. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011] | |

Alexa Fluor 750 | Alexa Fluor™ 750 (AF750, Alexa 750) has an excitation peak at 749 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm, and is spetrally similar to Cy®7 (GE Healthcare), APC-Fire™ 750 (BioLegend), CF®®750 (Biotium), DyLight™ 750 (ThermoFisher Scientific), iFluor® 750 (ATT Bioquest) and iFluor® 790 (ATT Bioquest). Alexa 750 is often used as a tandem fluorophore in flow cytometry or used on its own in fluorescence microscopy, in-vivo fluorescence microscopy or super-resolution microscopy applications. |
