Antigen CD49b
Clone 31H4
Host Mouse
Isotype IgG1
Conjugate Alexa Fluor 350
Target Species Human
Applications FC, ELISA
Description Does not cross-react with Rat.Mouse anti Human CD49b antibody, clone 31H4 has been identified as being capable of immunoprecipitating the integrin a2 subunit from human cell-lines surface labelled with 125I. It has been confirmed specific to a2 by relative expression of antigen on various cell lines by flow cytometry, and recognition of affinity purified a2b1 in dot blots.
About CD49b and Alexa Fluor 350
CD49b This gene encodes the alpha subunit of a transmembrane receptor for collagens and related proteins. The encoded protein forms a heterodimer with a beta subunit and mediates the adhesion of platelets and other cell types to the extracellular matrix. Loss of the encoded protein is associated with bleeding disorder platelet-type 9. Antibodies against this protein are found in several immune disorders, including neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia. This gene is located adjacent to a related alpha subunit gene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2012]
Alexa Fluor 350 Alexa Fluor™ 350 (AF350, Alexa 350) has an excitation peak at 346 nm and an emission peak at 442 nm, and is spectrally similar in size, brightness and application to AMCA, DyLight™ 350 and CF®350. Alexa 350 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
