Description | NB100-65269 recognizes human CD101. CD101 is a 140kD homodimeric cell surface glycoprotein expressed primarily by monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells and activated T lymphocytes. Studies suggest that CD101 plays a major role in the activation of T cells by skin dendritic cells. Clone BB27 has been reported to inhibit allogeneic T-cell responses (1). Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in functional assays. |
About CD101 and Alexa Fluor 750
CD101 | Predicted to enable hydrolase activity, acting on carbon-nitrogen (but not peptide) bonds, in cyclic amides. Predicted to be involved in cell surface receptor signaling pathway. Predicted to act upstream of or within positive regulation of myeloid leukocyte differentiation. Located in extracellular exosome. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022] | |
