Description NB100-65929 recognizes the human CD84 cell surface antigen, a highly glycosylated cell surface antigen of 64-82kD. CD84 is predominantly expressed by B lymphocytes, monocytes and macrophages, although lower levels of expression have also been reported on T cells, granulocytes and platelets.
About CD84 and DyLight 650
CD84 This gene encodes a membrane glycoprotein that is a member of the signaling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM) family. This family forms a subset of the larger CD2 cell-surface receptor Ig superfamily. The encoded protein is a homophilic adhesion molecule that is expressed in numerous immune cells types and is involved in regulating receptor-mediated signaling in those cells. DyLight 650 DyLight™ 650 is a red-emitting fluorophore that excited by the 640 nm laser and collected using a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. DyLight™ 650 has an excitation peak at 652 nm and an emission peak at 672 nm, and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 647 and Cy5. DyLight™ 650 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
