About CD90 and SuperBright 436
CD90 This gene encodes a cell surface glycoprotein and member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of proteins. The encoded protein is involved in cell adhesion and cell communication in numerous cell types, but particularly in cells of the immune and nervous systems. The encoded protein is widely used as a marker for hematopoietic stem cells. This gene may function as a tumor suppressor in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. SuperBright 436 SuperBright 436 (SB436) is a fluorescent polymer with an excitation peak at 414 nm and an emission peak at 436 nm. SB436 is spectrally similar to StarBright Violet 440, eFluor™ 450 and Pacific Blue but can be unmixed with Brilliant™ Violet 421 on a spectral analyzer. This dye is a member of the SuperBright dye family, sold by ThermoFisher Scientific under license from BD Bioscience.
