About IRAK4 and Purified
| IRAK4 | This gene encodes a kinase that activates NF-kappaB in both the Toll-like receptor (TLR) and T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling pathways. The protein is essential for most innate immune responses. Mutations in this gene result in IRAK4 deficiency and recurrent invasive pneumococcal disease. IRAK4 in Human Tonsil. IRAK4 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human tonsil using Rat Anti-Human IRAK4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3919) at 5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # CTS013). Tissue was stained using the Anti-Rat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS017) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).
