Description The Anti-IgG antibody detects all subclasses of human immunoglobulins of the IgG isotype. Clone IS11-3B2.2.3 recognizes the Fab region of IgG. IgG produced by B cells is the most abundant immunoglobulin in humans. It is expressed in a membrane-associated or a secreted form. Functions of IgGs include opsonization for phagocytosis, complement activation, feedback inhibition of B cell activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
About IgG and Vio Blue
IgG This gene encodes a protein that plays an important role in the immune response. This protein is a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor. The gene is one of three related gene family members located on chromosome 1. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Vio Blue Vio®Blue® has an excitation peak at 400 nm and an emission peak at 455 nm, and is spectrally similar to eFluor™ 450 (ThermoFisher Scientific), V450 (BD Biosciences), Alexa Fluor™ 405 (ThermoFisher), Pacific Blue (ThermoFisher Scientific) and ATTO 425 (AttoTec).
