About P2RY12 and Biotin
P2RY12 The product of this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor is involved in platelet aggregation, and is a potential target for the treatment of thromboembolisms and other clotting disorders. Mutations in this gene are implicated in bleeding disorder, platelet type 8 (BDPLT8). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants of this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2013]

  P2RY12 Biotin BioLegend antibody anti target:Mouse host:Rat isotype:IgG2b κ clone:S16007D

IHC staining of Biotin anti-P2RY12 antibody (clone S16007D) on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue. Following antigen retrieval using Retrieve‐All Antigen Unmasking System 3 (Cat. No. 927801), the tissue was incubated with the primary antibody at 10 µg/mL overnight at 4°C, followed by incubation with 2.5 µg/ml of Alexa Fluor® 647 Streptavidin (Cat. No. 405237) for 1 hour at room temperature. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI. The image was captured with a 40X objective. Scale bar: 50 µm
