About Alexa Fluor 350


Alexa Fluor® 350 (AF350, Alexa 350) is a blue-emitting synthetic fluorophore that can be excited by the 350 nm UV laser and captured with a 450/50 nm bandpass filter. AF350 has an excitation peak at 346 nm and an emission peak at 442 nm, and is spectrally similar to AMCA, DyLight™ 350 (ThermoFisher Scientific) and iFluor™ 350 (AAT Bioquest). AF350 is most commonly used in flow cytometery, and fluorescence imaging applications. The Alexa Fluor dye family was originally developed by Molecular Probes, now a part of ThermoFisher Scientific. AlexaFluor is a registered trademark of Invitrogen, ThermoFisher Scientific. Alexa Fluor dyes come in a wide variety of modified formats that allow for easy conjugations or right out of the box use.
