About APC Far Red 718
APC Far Red 718 has an excitation peak at 713 nm and an emission peak at 718 nm. It also has an additional absorption peak at 614 ± 2 nm. APC Far Red 718 provides researchers with a brighter, more affordable, highly photostable dye that serves as an excellent alternative to Alexa Fluor 700, Spark Red 718, and APC-iFluor700 in multi-color flow cytometry panels. Its emission profile makes it particularly valuable for applications requiring reduced spectral overlap and precise data resolution. Unlike tandem dyes, APC Far Red 718 avoids complications associated with energy transfer and signal decay, delivering consistent performance across experiments.
