About MitoView 720

Biotium's MitoView dyes are used for live cell mitochondrial staining. These dyes are bright, photostable, non-toxic dyes, and do not require a wash step before Fluorescence Microscopy. While these dyes should be used for live cell staining only, the exception is MitoView Green which can be used for staining fixed cells. MitoView 720 has an excitation peak at 720 nm and an emission peak at 759 nm.
