About Oxazole Yellow

Oxazole Yellow (YO-PRO-1) is a cell-impermeant, fluorogenic intercalating nucleic acid stain. Oxazole Yellow has an excitation peak at 491 nm and an emission peak at 506 nm. It is commonly used as a dead and apoptotic cell stain in the following applications: Fluorescence Microscopy and Flow Cytometry.
